OVERVIEW
This 2.5 hour course is a part of the Clinical Intensive Neuro Course and is divided into two sessions, on Tuesday and Wednesday. We will focus on two controversial topics in neurology/neuroradiology, with physician speakers and a panel discussion on each program.

Part 1 will cover cochlear implants, including when to place cochlear implants, and how to image them.
 
EDUCATIONAL OBJECTIVES
Upon completion of this course participants should be able to:
Explain some of the ethical and technical issues surrounding cochlear implants; and
Perform optimal MRI and CT examination prior to and following surgery, assessing for complications.
 
AUDIENCE DESCRIPTION
This course is designed for physicians who are interested in learning more about controversies that occur in the daily practice of radiology/neuroradiology.
