OVERVIEW |
This 2.5 hour
course is a part of the Clinical Intensive Neuro Course and is
divided into two sessions, on Tuesday and Wednesday. We will focus
on two controversial topics in neurology/neuroradiology, with
physician speakers and a panel discussion on each program.
Part 1 will cover cochlear implants, including when to place
cochlear implants, and how to image them. |

EDUCATIONAL OBJECTIVES |
Upon completion
of this course participants should be able to: |

Explain some of the ethical and technical issues
surrounding cochlear implants; and |
|
Perform optimal MRI and CT examination prior to and
following surgery, assessing for complications. |
