OVERVIEW |
This 2-hour
course is a part of the Clinical Intensive Neuro Course and will
focus on novel new clinical spine and spinal cord imaging.
Physicians and MR physicists will speak on: |

Diagnostic value of the loaded spine exam; |
|
Current 0.6 T Fonar systems and their limitations; |
|
High-field spine imaging; and |
|
Novel techniques in spine imaging. |

EDUCATIONAL OBJECTIVES |
Upon completion
of this course participants should be able to: |

Describe the diagnostic value of the loaded spine
exam; |
|
Evaluate the difficulties and limitations of current
loaded spine MR systems; |
|
Explain the benefits and limitations of high-field
spine imaging; and |
|
Describe several novel, new techniques available to
better image the spine. |
