OVERVIEW
This 1½-hour course will focus on state-of-art imaging of non-gynecological pelvic malignancies. Specific lectures will focus on:
The role of MRI in management of patients with rectal cancer;
The added value of MRI in bladder cancer; and
Current state and future perspectives of lymph node imaging.
 
EDUCATIONAL OBJECTIVES
Upon completion of this course participants should be able to:
Describe the crucial role of MRI in management of patients with rectal cancer;
Explain the added value of MRI in evaluation of patients with bladder cancer; and
Describe the current role of MRI in evaluation of lymph node metastases.
 
AUDIENCE DESCRIPTION
This course is designed for radiologists, MR technologists and clinical support scientists who wish to improve the use of MRI in their practice, and understand how evolving MRI techniques can aid in clinical problem solving in the body with impact individualized patient care.
