OVERVIEW |
This two-hour
course will cover clinical issues with imaging as a tool. The
principal topics to be covered are pediatric infections, prenatal
congenital infections, and acute demyelination. Our overall goal is
to enable attendees to become familiar with MR patterns according to
clinical context and age. |

EDUCATIONAL OBJECTIVES |
Upon completion
of this course participants should be able to: |

Apply MRI to evaluation of pediatric infections
according to clinical needs and age; |
|
Describe infection-related imaging findings
according to clinical settings and age; and |
|
Describe MR findings in acute pediatric
demyelination. |

DESCRIPTION |
This
course is designed for neuroradiologists, pediatric
radiologists, general radiologists, neurologists,
neurosurgeons, MR technologists, physicists and engineers
associated with neuroimaging. Clinical and pediatric
experience will be helpful. |
