OVERVIEW |
This 2-hour
course is a part of the Clinical Intensive Neuro Course and will
focus on MRI in several clinically important pediatric conditions.
Physician speakers will cover imaging in: |

Stroke; |
|
Epilepsy; |
|
Metabolic disorders; and |
|
Developmental delay. |
|

EDUCATIONAL OBJECTIVES |
Upon completion
of this course participants should be able to: |

Describe MR imaging patterns in developmental delay; |
|
Explain the advantages and disadvantages of MRI in
epilepsy and in metabolic disorders; and |
|
Describe MRI findings in stroke and the prediction
of outcome. |
