OVERVIEW |
This two-hour
educational course is designed to juxtapose and place in context the
MR scanning practices in several distinct Pacific Rim countries that
represent a significant contingent of ISMRM membership. Speakers
will describe distinguishing features of the healthcare systems and
patient populations in their countries, will outline key pressures
driving imaging practices, and will survey typical MR imaging
protocols against this backdrop. As time permits, speakers will also
comment on the local research environment and the extent to which
clinical and research communities interact. A concluding panel
discussion will explore noteworthy differences, similarities,
trends, and needs in MR practice across geographies and cultures. |
|
EDUCATIONAL OBJECTIVES |
