|
| OVERVIEW |
|
This session will provide an
overview of the connectome, a comprehensive representation of the
neural network of the brain. Basic concepts, goals of the connectome
project, and advanced MRI methods being applied to this area will be
discussed. |
| |
| TARGET AUDIENCE |
|
Biologists, neuroscientists,
physicians, physicists, and engineers interested in a comprehensive
review of the connectome. |
| |
| EDUCATIONAL OBJECTIVES
As a result of attending this
course, participants should be able to: |
- Assess the neurobiologic
substrates and complexity of the connectome; and
- Modify or utilize methods
for constructing and studying MR connectomes.
