OVERVIEW
This session will provide an overview of pre-operative brain mapping MRI methods used in brain tumor resections and epilepsy surgery. Clinically relevant multi-modality functional and structural integration will be discussed, and new technical advances presented.

Scientists and clinicians seeking to understand pre-operative brain mapping options, their integration in practice, and emerging research directions.

As a result of attending this course, participants should be able to:

  • Evaluate DTI and fMRI in the pre-operative setting; and
  • Appraise the evidence for resting state fMRI in brain mapping protocols.
