|
OVERVIEW |
This two-hour intermediate-level
course is designed for scientists and clinicians who are interested
in learning about best practices for analysis of various MRI
neuroimaging modalities. Lecturers will dissect the analysis
pipelines for functional, perfusion, diffusion and structural
imaging studies, using an example-driven approach to highlight
common problems and pitfalls. The course aims to be interactive and
entertaining, while providing pragmatic tips and tricks from experts
who have analyzed a ridiculous amount of data. |
|
TARGET AUDIENCE |
This course is designed for
scientists and clinicians who are currently working with MRI
neuroimaging data. The focus on practical issues and real-world
examples (rather than background theory) makes the course most
beneficial to those who are able to put the material to immediate
use. The course assumes previous knowledge of some or all of the
imaging modalities, and attendees will benefit from prior experience
analyzing imaging data. |
|
EDUCATIONAL OBJECTIVES
As a result of attending this
course, participants should be able to: |
- Appreciate the critical
role played by pre-processing across the range of modalities;
- Implement best practices
for setting up, debugging and monitoring complicated processing
pipelines; and
- Explain problems and
pitfalls that are specific to functional, perfusion, diffusion
and structural MRI.
