Session Number: S-W-07 Overview This course will provide an overview of preclinical and clinical findings in traumatic brain injury. Target Audience Physicists, clinicians, trainees, and others interested in learning about the biology and imaging of traumatic brain injury. Educational Objectives As a result of attending this course, participants should be able to: - Describe the underlying damage inflicted by a traumatic brain injury; - List the latest imaging technologies for diagnosing and managing traumatic brain injury; and - Discuss the technical challenges of creating quantitative imaging biomarkers for traumatic brain injury.
