Overview


Target Audience
Radiographers, technologists, radiologists, scientists, and anyone who can benefit from additional MR physics instruction.

Educational Objectives
As a result of attending this course, participants should be able to:
- Explain how the magnetization of objects in magnetic fields results in translational and twisting forces;
- Describe the relative magnitudes of these forces for diamagnetic, paramagnetic, and ferromagnetic materials and the factors which determine these in relation to MRI equipment; and
- Relate the above to common implants and implant materials.
