2018 SMRT President’s Award

Rebecca Glarin, B.Appl.Sc. (MedRads)
will be presenting her award-winning paper Saturday, 16 June at 13:15.
MREYE – Are You Winking at Me?
Rebecca Glarin is a research MRI radiographer at the Melbourne Brain Centre Imaging Unit located at School of Medicine and Radiology at University of Melbourne.
Rebecca has over 15 years of experience in both clinical and research MRI. Her current interests are in the use of advanced MRI techniques for clinical practice and research. More recently she has been conducting Ultra High Field MRI (UHF 7T) studies for applied human research. More specifically her expertise is in advanced MRI neuro imaging (CEST, QSM, Sodium, MRS, fMRI), Cardiac MRI, MRI guided biopsies, MRI safety, abdominal including elastography, musculoskeletal 4D MRI, non-invasive neuroanatomy and UHF ocular imaging.
Rebecca is excited to see the future progression of UHF MRI into the clinical space and the role it will play in advancing quantitative MRI for guiding precision medicine.
